ADJUDICATOR & EXAMINER

Adrian Goss is an Adjudicator member of the British and International Federation of Festivals (BIFF), with over thirty years' experience in this field at both National Festivals including the National Festival of Music for Youth), local festivals, schools and other educational institutions.  He adjudicates all over the UK and Internationally.

 

He specialises in Vocal, Choral and Piano classes but was appointed in addition a General adjudicator in 2014, in recognition of his current work as a conductor, teacher and coach, and former experience in instrumental work professional wind player, orchestral & chamber musician and 28 years experience as a Director of Music in two independent senior schools, Director of the Kent Music Academy for the talented and gifted young musician and Head of County Groups for Kent as Conductor and Coach.

In 2011 he was elected a full Member of the Adjudicators' Council, representing the interests of music, dance and speech adjudicators, and he is jointly responsible for the assessment and selection of potential new adjudicators to BIFF.   He was elected Vice Chair in 2013 and is Chair of the Adjudicators Council having been elected in 2014 and again for a second term in 2018.

He was an Examiner to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama for fifteen years for both diploma and grade examinations.
